Ugh. I only shop here when I have to.
What is good about this store? The produce is very good, if too expensive. The store is very clean.
However, there are so many things wrong with this store. Prices are too high. Lines are always too long. The slowest checker in the entire store is usually the guy on Express. The bread department is tiny. The Bakery is a shadow of its former self. The Deli ... OMG, do NOT be in a hurry if you go to the freakin' deli. I swear, the folks that make those sandwiches are the slowest people I've ever seen. You have been warned.
PRO TIP: If you go in at lunchtime, grab something (anything) out of the cold cases. They have pre-made sandwiches. Downside is that those things have absolutely NO condiments on them, so you're on your own in that regard. They also actually have a sushi case with a real live "sushi chef," credentials unknown, during lunchtime. They stock the case with California Rolls and other basic sushi. I confess that I have tried some of these offerings. The prices are reasonable (for sushi) and the fare rates "not bad."
